THE CHALLENGE
The first wave of the pandemic just washed ashore and the stores reopened, but they were still missing one thing: clients. Our objective was to bring people back to the stores and our budget was zero budget.
THE IDEA
That summer Italians were experiencing a different kind of vacation: they were staying in Italy. So we turned Whopper receipts into coupons to get new Whoppers, with one catch: people had to travel to a different store each time. This was our way to boost both tourism when the country needed it most and Whopper sales.
